King of Prussia Travel Guide
Welcome to King of Prussia!
King of Prussia, a community named after an 18th-century inn, is located northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A highlight of any trip is a visit to nearby Valley Forge National Historical Park, an American Revolution site that honors the sacrifices of the revolutionary war generation and offers tours of historical quarters and displays of war artifacts. Located only minutes from the park, one of the biggest shopping complexes in the United States and the largest on the East Coast, the King of Prussia Mall, is found. The mall includes over 350 specialty shops and a number of major department stores, such as Bloomingdales, JC Penney's, Macy's, Neiman Marcus and Sears. Other area attractions include Chaddsford Winery, complete with a tasting room, and Longwood Gardens, which features 40 indoor and outdoor gardens. Of course, King of Prussia offers excellent access to Philadelphia and the plethora of attractions and activities it holds.
